(If you respond saying 'who cares' I'll just ignore you. If you don't care, don't read, don't reply. If however you think I am wrong, then tell me.)
My own intuition says the Puma Mobium Elite look good.
Orthotic insert machines have told me that I have "high arches and high foot pressure." Ankle sprains have told me the same. I also wear on the outside of my toes shoe after shoe. I read about the biomechanics of some sprinters and realized that the reason I do this is because I "claw" forward and have little back-kick. Powell is a good example, but I'm not a 100 meter runner but a weekend road warrior looking to move up in distance by improving efficiency. Because I believe this is the result of my physiological build, the aim is not to change my form to back-kick but to select shoes that fit the way I run.
Twice I tried "Zero drop" minimalist shoes and twice they didn't work. My next experiment is the Puma Mobium Elite.
For someone who tends to extend forward instead of push back and has high arches, I think these shoes can work well. But if you have a better suggestion, you are free to comment and tell me that I'm wrong.
You can also tell me that you don't care. My response, which I won't write again, is "don't click the thread then."
