Anyone use these? Will I get beat up for wearing them? I just started an 18 week plan for Chicago and need some new gear.

don't waste your money. they have had many issues and lulu won't replace when they tear. get yerself 3 pair of nike tempos for the same price and have good shorts for 5-7 years.
thanks ill give those a look!
I assumed Lululemon was only for women and gay men. Which shorts out of this selection were you even considering for running?
Lululeman?
How long have you been biting pillows?
We wear tested them, they look fine, they're comfortable, and fortunately, women still like me and I still like women as much as I did before I wear tested them. They have too much material though, they get sweaty. You're better to go with a name brand, Nike, Mizuno, ASICs, New Balance, adidas.
$64 for a pair of shorts? They'd better be pretty amazing for that price. Lululemon is such a cliche yuppie store.
I re-started this thread as I have no idea why it was deleted. Mods, please keet.
A month or two ago, I went into Lululemon while my wife was shopping as I'd heard a lot about the place. I came very close to buying a pair of $64 shorts.
Can't remember which ones they were. Don't look like those as they were light blue color but had lining.
If I had bought them, I was going to start a thread, "Just bought a pair of Lululemon shorts, does that mean I'm not a runner any more?"
I used to make fun of guys who wouldn't wear short shorts, now I'm almost paying $64 so I don't have to. My how the times have changed.
Went into a Lululemon store while I was in Chicago last summer. Their stuff is pretty nice but overpriced. I've bought Lululemon gear for female friends but I doubt i'd ever drop that kind of cash on myself from that store.
Many companies make dri-fit style running shorts (nike, reebok, adidas, asics, brooks), and for half the price of Lululemon. Or if you're patient, active.com will do blowout sales from time to time on name brand running gear, priced at $10-15. Get on and buy 5-6 pairs for the price of one lululemon pair. Gotta hurry though, they go quick, as you would imagine.
Mods, I've re-instated this thread twice now. If you delete it, I am revoking your privileges. End of story. I'm sure we'll have plenty of volunteers.
I would only buy them if they were sheer.
I can understand why women pay the huge premium for Lululemon gear. They are the first company to really take the women's fitness market seriously by designing and styling running gear for women instead of just modifying men's designs and styles. But the men's clothes are nothing new and are just there because women will buy them for their significant others or men will shop there when they are with their mates.

That's it in a nutshell. This stuff is in their store for the same reason the magazines and candy are at the checkout counter in your grocery store.
Also, when shopping for the males gift the women say "hmmmm, how about something for me?"
Straight talk.
You are tossing $ away here. Listen to what we all are saying. No of us know each other and have nothing to gain.
Bottom line: Super High Margins and profits at your expense if you buy into the hype (read: marketing).
Enough said.

This. I also find the items to be too foo-foo, snotty for my taste. No thank you.
