I don't mean a charity outfit for a marathon.
I mean someone wearing something a bit outside of the norm.
I saw someone in gold shiny metallic shorts the other day.

I'm always partial to people running in polo type shirts. Always makes me wonder if that is their least dressy item of clothing.
A black face mask.
I run in jeans and hiking boots on occasion.
20F degree weather:
hot pink running shorts
white wife beater
rabbit fur bomber hat with sickle and hammer
Asian guy in Jersey City wearing work clothes: nice black loafers, black pants, white button-down shirt. Saw him a few times running in the same area, always wearing the same thing. It was the middle of the day in the summer and must have been 85-90 degrees out.
In the winter time in the DC area when it was in the high 30s or so there was this dude wearing blue tights, going shirtless, yet had gloves on. Craziest thing to see.
There used to be this famous guy in Annapolis that ran everyday in shoes and a speedo. No matter what the temperature.
There's a small, plump, older hispanic lady who I see running multiple laps on a half mile park loop pretty frequently; usually wearing jean shorts, a polo or tee, and thong flip flops. She's surprisingly smooth in the flip flops. Looks like she's cross country skiing. The flip flops glide along the ground and just her heels move up and down. I often wonder how she does it!
He wasn't running, but on rollerblades...which made it even funnier.
Full length black tights with a polo shirt tucked in. Saw this probably 13 years ago and still remember to this day.
pudding
nothing
Long sleeve belly shirt and yoga pants. ew
I live in TX and it gets over 100 degrees mid day during the summer. Every now and then i'll see somebody in a full 90s style cotton sweat suit. Between the natural rise in their body temp and the suit trapping in all that heat, it's got to feel 150 degrees.
A Mexican in a hockey sweater, on a 80 degree day.
I can't top the horse head guy but I once ran a road race and some guy was wearing rubber cleated football shoes. Of course, the pace vehicle was an old tractor.
New Bedford 1/2-marathon 2011: There was a guy wearing what I can only describe as a tunic made of hemp perhaps. The top was slung over one shoulder, and it came down to mid-thigh. That may have been all he had on, as he was also barefoot. He ran a 1:11.
Also interesting to note, in results he is listed as being from Latham, MA. That is the fictional town in which Seinfeld and friends are arrested in the final episode.
I feel like someone should have been doing a post-race interview with this guy.
I saw Bradley Cooper running with a trash bag once. Jennifer Lawrence was with him.

Can't believe Naptown got a mention! Speedo guy is still out there. I've seen him when it's about 20 degrees, as red as a lobster, still rocking just the Speedo.
