Quite a matchup. Hasay in front of her home town and her last collegiate race. Who do you like?

Abbey D'Agostino is going to kick the sh*t out of Hasay at Nationals.
Why even bring this up? At the 5K ...they are at two different levels. Hasay's PB is around 25 seconds slower.
Abbey D' would have to have to be running injured or sick for Hasay to beat her.
Abbey wins
Saina kicks both of their butts and everybody bitches about how old she is and that she is African. Oh yeah, she'll have to do that after winning the 10k first since Hassay won't be running there and can find excuses about how she was too fresh or had the home crowd advantage etc... before she drops out of the race ending the dreams of all of those who wooed her there in the first place. "Come to Oregon-Come to Oregon" Hope that worked out as well as you thought. NOT!!!!
I'm a huge Hasay fan but D'Agostino is on another level, plus Saina has a faster PR as well. I think a top 5 finish for Hasay in the 5k would be good, a top 3 would be great.

Calm down...I live in Iowa and you are embarrassing.
I think Hasay will get 2nd to Abbey. She has a good chance of beating Saina like she did in the 3k indoor because Saina will have to come back from the 10k.
Regardless of what I think will happen, I HOPE Jordan will pull it off and become the first FL champion to win an outdoor title.

Wow, that post was downright psychotic.

Actually, it has worked out far better than any of us could have thought. She has been a wonderful addition to the community.
Plus, the Duck women have done quite well while she has been here.
I'm tired of all the complaining on this site when Oregon fans don't get what they think they deserve for just being supporters of Oregon. Blaming bad weather conditions to losing to older/foreign athletes etc... I've read a lot of crap about Saina when that happens to poor little Hassay. I don't care if you are from Iowa, so am I. Saina will talk with her feet and I'll cheer real loud for her whether she wins or not but I defnitely won't be trying to bring others down after the fact just because they didn't get what they wanted. Now, pony-up and stop hiding in the shadows. It's ok to voice your support here rather than just trying to hush-hush someone else.

Better than 4.5? That reminds me of the line from "Spinal Tap" about the band that plays at a volume of 11 even though the dials only go to 10.

Many schools use a 5-point GPA and Spinal Tap's amps' dials did go to 11; that was the joke.
All those accolades and she runs relatively pedestrian times. A high school junior trounces her 1500 times. She is 20 seconds off the world record in the 1500. Imagine a stud male college senior running a 4:03 mile - about same time difference off the world record. You have high school kids running that. She has done well in a very weak women's field. She was great high school runner but has not improved any in college.
