So for the past couple years I have been running in the Asics Nimbus religiously. I originally had a moderate heel strike, but I changed my foot strike to more of a midfoot strike. The nimbus really limited how much i could change my form so I decided it was time for a different shoe. My local running store gave me the Saucony Kinvara 3, and at first I thought it was perfect but then came the problems. I have been having shin problems pretty bad lately. Not enough to keep me from running, but I definitely notice that they are there. What shoe is more cushioned than the kinvara but not as bulky as the nimbus. Any help on this issue is appreciated.. Serious training for this xc season starts soon, and I really don't want to be injured.
