300-500 miles depending on type of shoe. People are different in how they wear out shoes. But 300-500 is a good deadline. YOu can usually tell when they are ready to go.
every 1000 miles or every 1500 kilometres
whichever comes first
when the holes on the side of the shoe where the fabric meets the sole become big enough to bug me. That's the beauty of going minimalist, baby. No big soft pansy cushioning to break down..
every 400 miles, but my sneakers are relatively cheap (usually only 200$ or so)
It's easy to know when to replace VFFs: when there is a hole in the bottom or the uppers tear open. This usually is well past a thousand miles.
im pretty light so i can get around 400-500 miles out of mine. unless their mizunos then more like 350
Regardless of how often you do it, no one was tougher than Pre.

Pre was not so tough. He would rather imbibe and risk the deaths of innocents instead of being a good person. He was a sad sack of sh*t person. it is good he died before he could take others with him.
When the upper falls apart, or when the rubber is essentially all worn off.
Just hit the 2000 mile mark on this pair, and just this week started feeling like they might need replaced soon.
300-500 miles. Don't go one inch past the magic 500 mile barrier or you'll injure yourself badly.
whenever running in the shoe leaves me more beat it than it should be.
The disposable culture is what's wrong with America. People discard totally usable products in a never ending spiral of consumption.
Once your feet stop growing there is no need to ever buy another set of running shoes unless you lose them.
Learn to stitch and you can repair any defects from wear and tear.
