I favor a stability running shoe as I over-pronate (mildly) and could stand to lose 20 or 30 pounds. My most recent shoes were a pair of Asics Phoenix 3s that I found very comfortable and really liked. They've worn out, but when I tried a pair of the new Asics Phoenix 4s, I found them too tight. I ended up getting a pair of the Asics 1000 (in wide) and for some reason am now feeling it in my shins, knees and lower back. Has Asics changed its models somehow? Any suggestions or recommendations out there for a different line of Asics, or perhaps a different make of stability running shoe? Your leads and perspective would be most appreciated! Thanks!
