Punishment for the Boston Marathon Bombers?

I'd like to hear WHY they did it, so hopefully he's taken alive.

I'd like to find out if they are actually guilty before I pass judgement.

Gotta imagine he's wearing his bomb vest just like his brother. Can't imagine him being taken alive, especially, since he's willing to run over his own brother to avoid capture.

It sounds like the conspiracy is larger than just these two, so there will be others who can provide the Why's.

Ya because most innocent people shoot at cops.

My guess is the guy is hiding in a crawl space or tool shed or something in that neighborhood. I hoping he was not able to get away on foot with any explosives or weapons or otherwise make some sort of last stand, take hostages, etc.

He should be forced to endur carrying his wallet and spikes and tablet and iphone and newspaper and jacket and sunscreen and pretzel and program and drink and camera and kid and kid's drink and M&M's at the Penn Relays...all without the aid of a backpack.

The thread is addressing "the Boston Marathon Bombers" rather than any specific individual that may be part of extensive media coverage today. The inherent assumption would be that you are punishing the actual bombers.

Ask him who helped and why he did it. Then, take him down to the finish line of the marathon, cut off his legs, and leave him there to fend for himself.

Ordinarily I'd agree, but in this case the bombers established guilt by virtue of their actions since being identified as suspects.

this is a running website gentlemen, remember that.

You want this one alive. There could be many more people involved. You want to know who they were in contact with. Who were influencing them. If they had help, funding, etc. If there's other attacks planned by others within the group. There could be much more at play here than we think. If they had leaders, then those leaders could be influencing others all over the country. And he may not even know if other plans are in effect, I doubt they'd tell them, but if you know his contacts you might find out. Do you want to see the NY Marthon next? Chicago? London? No, absolutely he MUST be taken alive.

Good guess. This was my guess too that he would be in a garden shed or something.

A Boat? He had luxury accomadations for the evening.

Prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law. Plain and simple. Anything else and we are the losers - unable to stand by our OWN system of justice.
