However, Webb is done as far as being an elite competitor. He will NEVER run faster than 3:54 again.

Actually that's the fastest since El G ran 3:44.95 on June 29, 2001. So you could say he has the fastest mile in 11.7 years.

My brother ran JV his 9th grade year and they ran 660 and 1320 instead of the 880 and mile.
