Am I the only one that prefers the matumbos and victory for cross country racing over any actual cross country spike?

I always go matumbos. Never tried victories. Cross spikes are just a lot heavier (even victory XCs) and i feel like they don't really give any added traction.
if youre running on a course with lots of sharp turns, youre going to want a more well built spike. I've seen a few people rip their matumbos going around some sharp turns.

On a course with good footing, I totally agree. I ran my fastest 5k XC time in high school (sub 15) in a pair of Zoom Kennedy's.
