New Balance RC 1600.
Or the 1400. Tiny bit more substantial, but still very light. Fairly durable too for the weight.
I have my 2nd pair that I'll start getting used to soon in preparation for a couple of spring marathons.
True. 1600 is super light and probably only good for 200 miles. That's what I hear anyway.
1400s are in NB outlets for $70. These are definitely good if you want to get a lot of training miles in and are looking at marathons or just want more shoe.
If you're looking to train consistently and race I would recommend the Saucony Kinvara. Did roughly 85-90 miles of my 100 mile weeks in these with the rest being done in Lunarspider R3's. If you're looking for a good workout and race shoe only I'd say go with the R3's.

Is there a reason you would go with the Lunarspider over the streak xc/lt since it looks similar and costs way more?
You want to train and race in these flats? Or just do workouts and races in them?
I like the saucony A5 for everything from 5k-marathon. new fastwitch 6 is a pretty good lightweight trainer.
