He says he loves playing basketball, and dunking, but his coaches don't let him play too often. He was just on ESPN talking about it. His favorite team is the Celtics, favorite player KG.

I thought the game was tmw and missed it but Bolt did what he always does - provide the highlight of the night, with a 2-handed fast break jam.

Bolt was not particularly impressive in his East squad's 58-38 loss, but he did contribute the highlight of the night. In the final minute of the first quarter, the 6-5 Bolt streaked down the court and took a long-range pass. After collecting himself (read: committing and uncalled traveling violation), Bolt rose up and finished a two-handed slam. Check it out in the video above.
I don't believe that Bolt will be quitting his day job for basketball, but this play does help demonstrate the level of his athleticism. Despite the fact that he's not very good at the sport, Bolt managed to run up the court ahead of all others, caught the ball on the run, slowed down, and jumped up soon after for the dunk. That's not an easy thing to do, but Bolt made it look simple enough. There aren't many people outside of high-level basketball who can do that.
Nice dunk but he did take about 10 steps without bouncing the ball - travelling i think they call it!
Maybe he should take up the high jump for Rio.
The guy is 6'5"... any moderately athletic person at that height should be able to dunk.
They must've exhausted their celebrity list if they decided to ask Bolt to play.
Watching Bolt dunk makes me wonder about Lebron and how fast he is or would have been had he focused on the 100 like Bolt. Bolt dunked easily but he certainly wasn't soaring through the air. Lebron gets 2 feet above the rim on only a 3 inch height advantage. this type of explosiveness sure would come in handy in a 100m.
Not a very impressive dunk. I'm 6'2 and could dunk about as well in college and he's probably got 6"+ in reach over me. Most sprinters I know didn't have great hops, besides jumpers the guys with the lost hops on my college team were hurdlers.

Oh my god that is insane! Are you serious? Hurdlers? And you're only 6 2? Wow, insanity bro.
