Training for a 3000m this weekend and today I was in the middle of a pre race workout that was at race pace. I made it through my mile pretty good but during the 800m portion of the workout had to stop 300m into the interval do to calve pain in my right calve that stopped me in my tracks. I do not want the same misfortune this weekend any advice on good road flats that feel and fit like a spike? I am not super fast but am trying to run in the high 8's to low 9's and need all the help I can get right now...
