I've decided I'd like to try to run a 50k trail Ultra as my next challenge. I know there will be official aid stations at miles 11, 19, and 26. However, it's a very hilly course with a course record of 4 hours 30 minutes. So, should I carry extra water with me? If anyone has done an ultra before, would you recommend racing with a camelback, belt, or the bottles that you can strap to your hands?
