Well I was looking at the NB800, one of their higher end mid distance spikes, and part of the plate has carbon fiber in it. Do any of you think that this could be sort of like the Victory Elite's carbon fiber plate effect? I know that with a simple carbon fiber midfoot shank you can feel more responsiveness.
And also, I've noticed that the heel-to-plate raise is similar to the regular victory's, and I know that with them, when you apply your weight, they flatten out more so heel and mid strikers can use it. Can you do this with the NB800? I'm a heel-midfoot striker, (my heel just barely touches down first) I run the 3200, and I'm slower, so I spend more time in the support phase. Could this spike be for me?
