100 what?
Yards? Meters?
What difference does this make on this site? Details do not matter.
Bring back the 1500.
And a little more. Let's say that was 100 meters. We have to remember it was a running 100, rather than one from a stationary start. Adjusting for that, Cain's 100 is more like 15.5 or slower. Compared to standard 100 meter times by 16 year old girls, it is slow. However, tacked on at the end of a fast mile, maybe it is terrific. Damned if I know. Track events, and races, are complicated. That is part of track's charm -- and maybe that is one reason why track lacks popularity in the USA. Except for track fans, most sports-minded folks just do not get it.
No one is arguing her all out 100 meter ability idiot, she closed in sub 15 in the last 100 which is world class and shows she is in a league of her own compared to her peers.
I think that this could be something special that only comes around every once in a while.
Just like Bekele closed his 10k wr in sub 12, right?
Remember the 100 doesn't start on the straightaway.
Name her peers, then tell us their 100 and 400 closing times.
Thank you.
