A bunch of the East coast coaches got together and said, "Why fly to UW? Let's save 5k and do it on the East coast."

Congrats to those that got what they wanted. That 15:53 for Sorna is a new Cornell school record and #3 all-time in Ivy League:

Banked 200 is as fast as flat 307. Been saying that for years, but nincompoops insist that big tracks are "cheating". Nice to see somebody putting the lie to that.

You're an idiot if you think a 200 meter banked track is as fast as a flat 307 meter track.

Just because these girls ran fast on the 200 track doesnt mean its as fast as the 307. Theyd auto drop a few seconds if they ran on 307.

Has always been a great facility for 5000m. Don't I remember Lehane running a world record there in the mid 80's? I have had several athletes who have 5000m PR's from that event at BU.

Great facility. Impressive times early in the season. Have to wonder what the cut off time will be for NCAA's with no auto qualifiers. New BU record for Matthews too.
