A few years back I had plantar fasciitis that felt like a dagger into the bottom of my foot all the time, no relief. I have it again and this time around it is just the morning tightness that resolves through the day. With my first bout I did all of the exercises, stretching, etc. and am doing them again....but this time I'm thinking of a night splint as my symptoms seem to indicate this may be a quick fix using this approach (but will keep up the exercises etc. as a preventative measure). I'm wondering what type of success people here have had with night splints or 'the sock' - I read reviews of the sock and they were mixed but I also think that not all forms of PF are the same.
