how do they compare? (fyi i am a forefoot striker who trains exclusively in flats)
the three pairs of Mana 5s i've been rotating for ~2 years now aren't going to last me through track season, so i'm looking for a replacement. i'm steering away from the newer Manas since i've read that the 6 & 7 versions were radically different from the 5s (increased heel-to-toe drop, 2+ oz heavier, etc)
i bought a pair of Hagios a couple months ago as a potential replacement. i absolutely love them for racing & workouts, but i can't use them as an everyday running shoe due to a lack cushioning. steady 10-12 milers on successive days in the Hagio leaves sore spots on my forefoot (never a problem with the Mana 5s, pleny of 80+ mile weeks & no injuries since i started wearing them).
so if anybody could provide some info on what they think of the Adios 2, that'd be great (i'm going to try on a pair soon, my local shop is ordering my size). any other recommendations would be appreciated, though i've become fond of Adidas running shoes since they seem to fit my very narrow foot better than anything else i've worn. when i bought the Hagios i tried on the Kinvara (too much heel cushioning) and the Nike Free 3.0 (like it but not as snug in the upper as the Hagio, so i went with those).
