Good riddance to 2012; I've been running for 15 years and it was my worst year ever (didn't set one single PR, stubborn hip flexor trouble, NYC Marathon cancelled etc. etc.). My goal in 2013 is to win a 10k race that I came in 3rd in 2012, and to stay healthy so I can run a marathon PR at Boston in 2014. Actually getting through a whole year without getting injured would be amazing but I guess I should set goals that are realistic.
Sub 3:00 - ran my first sub 3:00 in Dec 1979; would like to do so again in 2013

Run my first marathon at San Diego

1. Staying healthy.
2. Running more consistently (no huge valleys/peaks in training).
3. Sub-3:00 marathon.
4. Top-35 placing in city's biggest road 10k.
5. Chip away at 5k pr while I'm still young enough to try.
