The quote comes not in the context of them fearing a positive - just the opposite. It comes in the context of Alberto being supremely confident in Mo's ability to win gold so confident that he felt the only way he wouldn't was if they missed a bunch of drug tests and were banned like Christin Ohurougu.
Now, given the rumors that are out there and the questions there are in private circles about Salazar/Rupp/Farah, does anyone read this and think just the opposite?
What am I asking is, 'Is this a way to plant in the public's mind some image of them being squeaky clean?' Proactively get out there sort of like Lance did on his comeback when he said he'd be privately tested by Don Catlin to try to squash the public from wondering before the real questions get answered.
Why would he be worried about missed tests? You have to miss 3 of them to get banned. It just seems weird that Alberto would be freaking out.
Alberto's either like super stressed for no reason (maybe that's why he had the heart attack) or he's got something to hide.
