That's a 2:17 marathon.
For a 3:46 miler.
Got some cows running do we?

Was he running backwards or just getting in a morning run? What do a 3:46.9 mile, 8:11 two-mile, 13:10 5,000, and 27:35 10,000 translate to?
3:46 is roughly a 21:40 8K
... it also translates to 9.70 for the 100m, but not everyone runs the McMillian tables straight across.
I really wish that people would stop putting so much stock in those tables.

It's not a marathon at all.
0/10. But, if he did run 23:10, that wouldn't be so bad right now. He clearly wasn't in top shape last season, but 23:10 would be equivalent to a 29:16 10k. This is a lot lower than we would expect for Webb at his peak, but at this point, it would be an OK starting point, not to mention that it would be a lot better than the 24:19 he ran in another low key race 2 months ago.
The world record for 8 km is 22:02.2 set by Peter Githuka of Kenya on 20 Jul 1996.http://www.arrs.net/WG_Rec_ENG.htmAlan's doing pretty good I would think.

Pretty sure there was no drug testing at that race. Crazy 8s in Kingsport, TN.

It's really 21:04 by Bekele en route to the 10k WR

sorry, bekele didn't run a 21:04 8k en route to a WR in 10k ON THE ROAD.

You think the road is a minute slower than the track?

Nice logic.
The stupifyingly obvious difference is that 8k is BETWEEN 5k and 10k, where he has much better times. Obviously.
Any other smart points?

Nobody said a min f'tard. Just that it wouldn't be 21:04 if he ran that 10k off the track. F'tard.
Rojos censorship at work today.

burn
I think you're retarded to not realize that Bekele kept running for another 2k. Whatever supposed difference there is between the road and the track is entirely offset by that extra 2k.
