I see lots of people in Vibrams. A lot of them are obviously just recreational runners, but I also sometimes see someone running in Vibrams that looks like he or she could be a fast runner. Yet they're just plodding along slowly with short strides.
Only a few of the competitive runners I know run in Vibrams and only for cool-down jogs or in one case of one guy, form drills.
So I'm just wondering - are they actually good for running at pace? Any experience? And please skip the replies about how stupid they look or how gay they are or whatever.
