If the next President wants to have world peace he should simply nuke the middle east from Morocco to Turkey to Iran to Israel.
Instantly most of the problems of the world would be solved- and there would be peace.

no. christians are the problem.
nice try troll.
World peace is an impossible myth. It sound great on paper, but, is unrealistic on so many levels it doesn't really get a lot of serious discussion as far as I know. We can't even get cities to live peacefully. What makes us think we can get all of our species to get along?
World Peace it's an arrogant and cocky Laker punk.

We have instead had the Israelification of the USA
World peace is impossible as long as desire exists. Desire is a basic human emotion and is the reason we are all here in the first place. Since we all probably have different ideas(desires) about what world peace is, we would all be trying to make our world peace model the one that is followed and this leads to arguing, bickering, and eventually war. Wait.......this seems familiar.
I think world peace, (and self peace for that matter), can only be attained through complete acceptance of others, and surrender of the things "we know." However, we live in a society where we are told to take sides on certain issues. Therefore, we do have to discuss our beliefs on these issues, but we need to do so in a way that is civil, and not in a way where the people, (or governments, etc.), are trying to dominate each other. Rather these discussions should be in a way where we are trying to learn more about each other, and about ourselves. A lot of problems in the world really stem from people considering themselves better than others, and this leads to the oppression of people.
