Or have they all been worn out/torn up by now?
Or have they all been worn out/torn up by now?
I saw only one guy wearing them last year at college meet. I know, not a real great contribution to this thread. But they should really bring them back along with the milers.
Seems like everyone is wearing mambas/matumbos.
I still race in a pair once or twice per year at my alumni meets. They are the blue on yellow color.
I love my Kennedys, that's pretty much all I race in. I have 6 pairs: yellow/blue, navy/yellow, black/gold x2, red/yellow, and blue/silver xc.
However, I have seen very few people still wearing these at meets I go to.
I own milers, eldorets, and kennedies, and all 3 are in pretty good shape considering I quit racing on the track several years ago. How do these still stack up to the new spikes available on the market? Milers were great, kennedies were okay, but felt a bit strange on the sole. eldoret was awesome as well, but I was usually in a shorter event. If i were doing 5k/10k today i'd wear them.
