I watched this with my daughter the other night and cannot agree more. He is miles ahead of everyone else. Even C3PO is a horrible actor.
Luke is laughable.

Alec Guiness was good despite the material.

Stallone in Rocky I.
keanu reeves in dracula
really could have been a great movie
also cameron diaz and leo dicaprio in gangs of new york

Marlin Brando, Godfather
The kid in A Bronx Tale was pretty bad. The little kid wasn't awful, but the "grown up" version was painful to watch. Especially opposite guys like DeNiro and Palmentari.

I thought that the standard answer to this question is Sofia Coppola, Godfather III. She totally redeemed herself with Lost in Translation, in my mind.
I agree that Luke in Star Wars is just beyond bad; I would say campy but that is probably giving the performance too much credit.
Keanu Reaves in Point Break.
Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface; random female off the street could have done better acting than she did in this film

Keanu Reeves in any of his movies.
actually pacino was atrocious in scarface - if he he actually expected to be taken seriously in that role he was really deluded - i view that movie as unintended satire

Interesting perspective. Mine was literally the opposite. I thought that overall as a movie it was mediocre but with a great acting performance by Pacino.
Jack Nicholson in The Departed. It's like he started working on his accent the first day of shooting and stopped working on it later that night.
