one more try
I have... I loved the first version and the 3rd is not quite up to par. Honestly, I do not like the weird spandexy stuff on the front of the shoe. It feels odd and smells like shit if you get your shoes wet. I guess the actual fit of the shoe is okay otherwise. I moved on to the FlyKnit Trainer.
I ran in the Run Avant, which was really the first LunarFly. I also have the LunarFly 3. Never ran in the 2. I think the fit is very similar, and the shoes are very similar in general. I'd think if you liked one, you'd like the other...
The 2 was the same as the 1 except for the upper which was a bit snugger in the midfoot but otherwise only a cosmetic change, and not a change for the better IMO.
The 3 is completely new. I would say the midsole is lower and the upper is heavier and snugger. I wasn't crazy about the fit of the 3 and didn't buy a pair so I couldn't say how they are to run in.
I really liked the 1 and for me it went downhill after that.
