    I like Road Runner Sports, but this is a funny email I received from their customer service this morning...

    Are their splits really as good as everyone says they are? What's the fabric like? Can anyone compare it to another brand? Nike, New Balance, etc...

    I hate Road Runner Sports, all about the money. You will not walk out of there without an insole and an overly expensive shoe. Go to a real running store.

    I HATE RRS. This dates back to late 80s when I mail ordered from them. Back when catalog order only. A bitch service rep/supervisor hung up on me after she realized they fxxxked up my order and had to refund my money. They sent the shoes to my dorm address when I was home for the summer break. Somebody stole the shoes at school mail room probably. Clearly wrote down the mailing address on my order form (how ancient right) but they used what was in their system from my previous order.

    They never had a good deal on the shoes anyway. Don't buy into their BS VIP system. No such system would ask you to for one.

    Road Runner Sports used to overstate the MRSP of the shoes so that their "discount" appeared larger than it really was. This was in the 80s-90s time frame.
