Addison, Tx Oktoberfest 5k. Does anyone know if that is for real. I wasn't there, but that could be the craziest race results I've seen. 7 year old racing a 70 year old down to a 17:38 finish. Unreal. Here is a link to the results:

Someone is playing a sick joke of the 70 yo.
Prolly some douche who entered 7 as the age on the sign up form and no one noticed.
Zero percent chance. Of either.
And 9yo Prince Kevin Curry IV smoked a 19:15.
Joke names and ages everywhere!
I know many of those "REAL" runners. Maybe sometime I can figure out who those people are who I don't recognize that are giving false names and ages.
False names are OK but aren't false ages illegal? They should "get in trouble" for that.
Video and pics can help ID those rascals.
An old teammate of mine used to use a fake name and age so our coaches didn't find out that he was doing road races during track season. I bet plenty of other people do the same thing for many reasons.
My guess is the little kid jumped into the race with a quarter mile to go. I've seen it happen before. Shameful!
um...apparantly someone just ran a 13:03 road parkrun...
Having not previously beaten 17 minutes. Suspicious.
Considering a 65 year has run a minute faster than this it is possible for a 70 year old to run this time, perhaps some time in the next ten years we will see a 17:30 on the road or track and about a 5:08 mile as well.
I think the time recorded for this race might be a mistake though.
No result has not happened as much as this result did not happen.
It was a 2 mile race, not a 5K. Please get your facts straight before posting.
My son (Kevin Curry IV) is the 9yr old that ran the 19:15 legit as he is the aau national runner up in the 1500. The 7 year old cut across half way during the race and ran back. I informed the race folks but they said what can we do. we live in a PC world.

Google Prince Kevin Curry IV human animals
no it was a 5k, I was there
Wow. I really wish I had not googled him, as you requested. I don't even know where to start with the list of issues I see.

Either A) he is the most driven, articulate 9 year old I have ever seen. Or...B) he has a father that doesn't know how to let a kid be a kid.
http://athlinks.com/racer/106521023I think I'll go with B.
CPS should be alerted about that page.
