Does anyone know when the new Mizuno Wave Precision will be out? I want this shoe, but can't stomach the women's neon pink and yellow...which is the ONLY color the darn thing comes in!!!

That's the new color way of the current version. Another new color will be out 1.5.13
How would this shoe do for a Marathon shoe? I've ran 1 marathon in a Asics Speedstar 5. 3:25 is goal time. 5'11" and 160lbs.

Given your stats, I think this shoe would be great for you for a marathon. Low heel, lightweight, but substantial enough for someone your size.
I'm a tad injury-prone, so I'd even use it for a 10k, but primarily I'd want it for shorter training runs (4-6 miles).
Thanks to the second poster for the next release date. I almost caved last week and bought the pink neon, but knew I could never leave the house in daylight hours in that hideous looking shoe. I'll wait and see what they come out with in January.

Also this will be the last offering for the Precision, so prepare for something lighter and better.
The Precision is being dropped by Mizuno? What will take it's place? Hope is closer to something like the Aero, which you can't get here in the U.S
Precision is going away, yes. Replacement is the Wave Sayonara, and is supposed to be about 8.5 oz. for men's 9, if I remember correctly.

did the sky work for you in the marathon?
It was the Speedstar 5. It has plenty of cushion, but I did get a blister just behind my left big toe. So I'm not using them this time. The size 11 has just a little bit too much room in the forefront. I will try the Precision in 10.5.
