Someone I know who used to work for Reebok told me that Reebok can never decide to get either fully into or fully out of making running shoes. Another guy I know who works at a running shop says Reebok's not even making running shoes now. I don't think he counts the Flex shoes as real running shoes though you will find them in the running shoe section at the big box stores.
At the 2011 Boston Marathon Expo I was at the Reebok booth and asked Kim Smith what she was going to race in because as far as I knew, Reebok had no racing shoe. She pulled out this really nice looking and feeling racer that she said would be on the market in "a few months." But it never was.
Reebok strikes me as similar to Puma in their approach to the running shoe market; they're never quite there but never quite gone.
