the 3000m is his best event. 7:36, at a fairly even pace.
German has been focusing on the 1500 all year. That being said, I think it will require good pacing for him to break 7:40. Ill say 7:39.
new AR 7:27. the track is short according to Ovett (after his 3:30.77 clocking in '83)
7:35
7:35.5
7:43
Considering he seems to be getting fitter and has some nice confidence at this point, I'm guessing he'll be aggressive and hit 7:36. Two more weeks and he could hit 7:34.
7:39
McMillan Calculator has him @ 7:37. I'll be more conservative given that he's still new to the pro scene and say 7:42. Still a PR.
Somewhere between 7:44 and 7:48.

track was re-laid in '02
i know an italian fan who is a physicist & went to measure it for himself as it wasn't far from where he lives
it's not short
german shoud be disappointed if he doesn't get 7'32
7:35, and not disappointed.
Ventolin as usal your insanity escapes no one, there is never a guy yet who you do not have running faster than they can or DID
7:32 would be absurd for a guy who has run under 3:37 once and never under 13:25 and who has not run a real fast track longer effort in years or in distance since XC
Anybody know whats up with Elliott Heath?

Lucky to break 7:50.
Probably won't beat Bumby.
Can we get away from this ridiculous delusion that German's best event isn't the 1500/Mile. It is clearly his best event.
