I have the 4s. I never tried the marathoners, so can't comment on that. But I do know they are softer than the 3s.
I've ran in both. The Zoom Marathoner has much, much more support, while the Streaks are more flexible and similar to a traditional road flat that you'd use for a 5K. I personally wouldn't advise anyone to use the Streak for anything above 10K. I ran in the Streaks for a quick, flat half marathon and the bottoms of my feet hurt a lot and the shoes were trashed. You only really get 100 miles out the Streak so use them sparingly.
I have ten times that on my Streak 3s. Clown answer, bro.
Is the Streak XC 4 really that bad? They're my favorite shoe right now, so it sucks to hear that Nike's doing the usual shoe-ruining dance.
