Unless you have a medical exemption. It doesn't matter if you think it's less dangerous that alcohol drinking.

So is exceeding the speed limit.
Don't do it.
So is not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign.
Don't do it.
Shut up! Marijuana is a plant. What tyrannical Fascist state outlaws people using an ancient plant that grows out of the grow. Outlaw all flowers. Outlaw all herbs.
Don't you have better things to do than try and regulate other people's behavior? Why don't you do your body some good and go for a run?

Dude, lots of "plants" are bad for you and can even kill you. Just because it's a plant doesn't make it harmless. You could perhaps have other arguments for it, but the plant thing should be removed from your list.
There's much more dangerous legal junk that you can pollute your body with.
Every myth about marijuana has been debunked yet it is still illegal. But cigarettes are not. Riiight that makes sense.
The bullshit propaganda doesn't work anymore.
Here's some light reading:

The world WILL be a much better place WHEN it is legalised.
This is obviously a troll. Probably a stoned troll.
One psychological aspect of "illegal" things is that people will always do them, and want to do them. Making something illegal does not prevent or even reduce their use. Look at prohibition. Look at the "war on drugs". It all comes down to economic laws, supply and demand, and the prices associated with the curves. When prices increase due to being "illegal", supply gets off its ass and gets going to produce what people really want, at a very handsome profit. See the cartels, Kennedys, mafia, etc. Their power has been given to them via the government, ie, making something "illegal".
So the argument that something is illegal and just don't do it, well, that is just stupid. Tax the shit out of it and leave it at that.
Check out what is going on in Honduras. How a US military base is within a few miles of a wellknown drug running airfield. Who is protecting what!!!

Ummm... Are you saying that there's no need to abide by the speed limit and stop at stop signs? Your entire argument here makes no sense.
Jaywalking is illegal. You want me to stop that, too?
your a prude who wants to regulate your life by rules and the government, thats cool, keep it to yourself, dont tell me how to live my life
Iv been smoking weed since 8th grade and I ran a sub 5 minute mile in high school
Drinking can have much worse consequences. Ever done the walk of shame after a night of smoking weed?
Remember Legalizeit? Where did he go? We need his thoughts on this matter
I have never smoked weed. It should obviously be completely legal.
I believe the implied argument is that, because none of those things are inherently dangerous, it's OK to break the law in certain circumstances. Given the initial argument is that we shouldn't smoke marijuana because it's illegal, this counter argument makes sense to me.
To the OP - I agree that people should respect the law to the best of their ability, but laws should morph based on the needs and preferences of society. For instnace, it wasn't that long ago that it was illegal for women to vote. I give it a decade before the majority of states have decriminalized marijuana use to some extent.

WHOA WHOA WHOA, SUB 5!!!! AND YOU SMOKE WEED! BRO, YOU ARE A GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Anyone who needs weed to get through the day is worthless and weak.
NEED.
Everyone needs something to get them through the day. Does that make us all worthless and weak?
Trust me: I wish I had the power to regulator other people's behavior. If only that were possible.
If that "something" is illegal, then yes.
