Hey all - I have a small bump, front and mid-tibia that is sometimes slightly painful to the touch. It feels like it's part of the bone. Occasionally it's sore at the start of a run, then is fine and then is bothersome afterwards for a while. If I take a day off, the pain fades; doesn't hurt as much when I run on softer surfaces, more with miles on concrete. I had a doctor say it might be a stress reaction, a PT friend told me to rub it after runs (I can't remember why he told me that)......any thoughts about it being a bone spur and what to do about it?
