I know the red ones that Manzano and Symmonds had are the new Victorys which I think are made of the flyknit material.
I wonder if they are going to sell them to they public. They look very good
They were wearing the prototype Nike Stonefoot Pros. Special carbon plate technology forces a nasty heel strike. Only being given to the best in the world.
What about the Oregon project guys, they were different than wheating's and manzano's

they are called the victory elite and will cost $180
Any idea the weight or where you could buy them?
they are supposed to be lighter than the current victories. They aren't supposed to be available to the public until next year. They are also coming out with the Victory 2 which will cost $120 because they have a plastic plate instead of carbon fiber.
Teg's new ones. WANT
and 'Kip' Lagat with the same ones
Is 120 or 180 for the victory elites worth the money?
No. Get the previous generation victories for 50 bucks or mambas for 70 and laugh in the face of the guy who payed 180 bucks to get his butt whooped by you.

probably not, but if you want the best, you have to give up that $180. It seems like nike set the bar so high with the original victories that the only way to make a better spike was going to cost the consumer $180. They really went all out with the full carbon fiber plate! The $120 for victory 2s doesn't seem that bad considering the old victories are $110 and the mamba 2s are $115.
I agree. Plus these new spikes look amazing
During the 5,000s Rupp was wearing a custom shoe that was the new Mamba 2 upper (and new colorway) with a matumbo plate and mid-sole. The shoe looked sick and must have been comfortable.
The Victorys raised the bar a lot from previous spikes so I paid the 100 bucks for them and I like them better than any other spikes I've had. To me it was worth it. These new ones coming out don't seem to be much of a step up from the original Victorys, and considering I can now get a new pair of the original ones for like 50 bucks, there's really no reason to pay that kind of money. But hey, if you have the money go for it. I think lighter spikes are more a psychological factor than anything but go with whatever works.
I switched to Adidas MDs this after two years of Vics. Prefer the Adidas.

Always hear good things about the Mambas though. Might see can I pick up a cheap pair. Either way I won't ever pay 180 bucks for a pair of spikes.

Not quite right. Lagat has a 2/3 length miler plate while Teg's regular Vic has the normal 1/2 miler plate
the problem with adidas is there spikes wiegh more than nike or saucony
here are a few more pictures of the new nike spikes. The ones that are the yellow/green color and have black flywire are the victory elites. The ones that look just like them, but are other colors and don't have the carbon plate are the victory 2s. I have no clue what the other spikes are.
