The shoe was uncomfortably snug with the insoles, so I took them out. That exposed the stitching. I got blisters, so I popped and healed them. On my next run, I got blisters again, even when I put some athletic tape on the spot that got blisters last time. Again, I popped them and I'm waiting for them to heal. In the mean time, what should I do? Vaseline? I really like these shoes. These runs were w/o socks. Could that be the reason? Will my skin toughen up after getting enough blisters so I won't get them anymore from that spot?
A second question: Do the uppers of running shoes get looser/wider (stretched out more) as you run in them more?
Thanks for your time.
