I wouldn't watch two minutes of the US Open if Tiger wasn't playing.
Have any of the top tri guys commented on this?
The top tri guys should insist that Armstrong be allowed to complete.
First, they get the chance to beat him.
Second, Armstrong will provide a new blood sample subject to the latest, and greatest, testing.
If Armstrong is guilty what could be better that the above? Destroy the guy once and for all.
And what if there is nothing showing doping in this latest sample.
Was he tested at his recent win?
has he been banned? Link? It would be crazy to ban him on the pretense of a pending suit and no conviction yet.
He hasn't been banned. He is facing allegations.
I read something that said he was " barred" from competing in France.
Is Ironman Hawaii (World) considered an "international" event. If so, he's banned.

World Triathlon Corporation (which owns the Ironman trademark) is a signatory to the WADA code which allows provisional suspensions. ITU is also a signatory to the WADA code. Lance is a signatory to the WADA code through his participation in both ICU and WTC events. As part of that he agreed to be tested by WADA and affiliated agencies and has agreed that these decisions are first adjudicated by the agencies and then by appeal to the CAS.

Actually, yes, he was banned.
No, if he was in it or not, I wasn't going to watch anyway.
Most of the Ironman competitors don't take a juvenile stance like some of the other accusing clods and troglodytes. But an Ironman win, although a long shot, for Lance would be icing on the cake. But on the other hand does Lance have something to prove sure...winning.

No, he is suspended from competing as he faces the charges. In the court of public opinion that might be the same thing, but there is a difference.
I was interested to watch if Armstrong was competing, even though I don't care for him or his attitude. I would watch because of interest in how well he would do.
However I am not going to watch a competition determined in advance by a drug agency, the USADA. I would like to see them banned from the sport, for tampering with athletes, and tampering with the competitive entries of athletic events.
None of the stupid drug agencies have any business being in our sport. They have NOTHING TO DO with our sport. If they want to do something with athletics, then they need to get off their FAT LAZY BUTTS and get out there and compete.
I have no interest with Lance out.
