I've taken six months off of running due to a bad case of achilles tendinitis in both ankles. After going to the doctor and getting an ultrasound he said it was still there and much the same as it was six months a go (so much for icing). I figured I'd stop being stubborn so I just bought a pair of orthotics. Now I'm getting back into running and wonder what kind of trainers will be the best?? No serious mileage, maybe 30 miles a week, 50 at most. Not interested in anything minimal. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
