I went from running in the Asics Kayano to the Hyperspeed, but it took me a couple of years to get there. My shoe progression went like this:
Asics Kayano (years) -> Saucony Ride (2 pairs, 6-12 mos) -> New Balance 825 (3 pairs, 2 years) -> Hyperspeed (years).
Every time I swtiched to a new shoe, I would get really bad arch pain after about a week. I would switch back to the old shoe for 2-4 weeks, then back to the new shoe. I was fine after that. How long have you run in the frees?
Eh, just saw you said since January. I probably didn't need to progress so slowly, but the original idea wasn't to train in flats, it was to get away from a super controlling shoe.
Nike Frees ARE a cusioned shoe.
Weird, I went from 64 MPW in Ravennas to 60 MPW in Ravennas and 4 MPW in frees and got plantar fasciatis.
