Worth it/no?

I'm curious about this too. The strap of my 3 y.o. Garmin FR 50 is cracking, and I was thinking about getting the FR 60 or 70. I need a watch with at least 2 interval timers and a HR monitor-- indifferent on whether it has GPS. I can't find specific info on the interval timers of 60/70. I also have the foot pod for my FR 50, and was wondering if it's compatible with the 60/70. I want a functionally easy watch-- got too frustrated with 405 (wore less than 10 times), so I sold it.
I like it because you don't need to recharge it and don't have to worry about gps coverage issues. I think accuracy is a little off when I switch shoes but it gets a fairly good reading. THe thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't give you split readings on the move like I normal watch would. Not very good for doing lap worksouts on the track.
Yeah, I like my FR 50 cause it uses a replaceable battery, and I can wear it like a regular watch. Is the battery easy to replace? Does it have 2 interval timers, and do you have the option of turning one or both on/off? Are they easily resettable (or resets itself)? For example, on my FR 50, I'll set it for XX seconds to do strides (using only 1 interval timer), and this timer resets itself automatically when it's done. When I had the 405, doing something simple like this was complicated-- you had to "program" in the interval times and number of reps. Sometimes I don't know how many strides I'll do, so I really don't want a reps option. Simplicity matters to me.
I was also curious if the interval timer allows you to view HR simultaneously?
ive had it for a couple years and only had to replace the battery once. You can set 2 diff. interval timers for doing a workout. For example, 1 min on and 2 min off X 5 repeats. I think you can also set it to give alerts by time or distance. But you have to program the watch to do this. If you want to change back to give you mile splits, you have to reprogram it back.
