Hello,
I was told I am a mild to moderate pronator in a runnnig store via gait analysis. I was instructed to buy "supportive" shoes which I did (for the first time) and on my first "real" run (over 3 miles) I got a blister on my left arch, near the back of the ball of my foot.
My left foot is definitely slightly larger than my right foot as I have found from years of shoes, cleats, and snowboarding boots, but is it possible that these "supportive" shoes are creating the blister because of the supportive feature?
I've never had blisters there before with normal off the shelf running/training sneakers, so I'm concerned that maybe my new sneakers are the problem. If so, how do I correct for my pronation without getting additional blisters?
