yes, first time under 2:00 for Erica! Awesome run for the former Indiana State Sycamore! GREAT run Erica!
her time is now #9 on the all time US indoor list
What an occasion for first sub-2:00! I assume this counts for Olympic "A" as well....
She is a heck of an athlete. 52.21 over the 400, 56.21 for 400IH and 5553Hept.
I am a fan.

No, it's not the A standard. .07 off.
a lot of usa 800m runners can learn from this girl and her fearless attack at the event. She is def the top USA middle distance runner right now and the fact that she's a lil naive makes her the fearless runner she is and that will bode well for her this summer. hopefully she keeps this fitness up, i'd love to see her make the finals at the olympics! she's hot!
Amazing. She's Amazing. I want a fullsized poster of her in my room.
Two questions are required:
PEDs? I have no idea
pics? Yes.

I'll tell you why I'm a fan - she is smoking hot. And fast. No speed goggles required here!
wow she cut off a lot of fat. Amazing what girls can do once the get the goo off.
Of course, most girls don't know the right way to lose goo and keep muscle, they think starving themselves is the answer.
NOPE high protein diet is the answer.
Just as filling as a normal diet.
Did she drop the "goo" or did she simply lean out because she stopped training for the throwing events in in the heptathlon?
Her shoulders look larger in these older photos.

I would eat a mile of he shit to see where it came from!
I think you meant HER.
I've always thought her very fine in looks and a great personality, but that WIC final is quite seriously the *sexiest* athletic effort I've ever seen:
It's like you took a hawt girl and infused her with Chris Derrick's fighting spirit. A wild mustang on the prairie.
Okay, let's be realistic: this was a good effort and a great story, but her last 200 was ugly. None of the medalists from 2011 World Outdoors were in this race. None of the members of the US team from 2011 were at USA Indoors when she qualified for this event, and none of those people have gone away. She has stamped herself as a contender for the Olympic Team, but 8 American women ran faster last year than she did today, 5 of them at USA Outdoors. If she keeps getting stronger so she can finish that last 200 she has a chance at going to the Olympics, but it's far from a sure thing. I'm impressed with her and wish her the best, but there are lots of good American women in the 800 right now.
I give Moore props for taking the pace out fast. I will interesting to see how much faster she can get over the last 200 meter.
have u ever raced an 800m like that before? i have and when u do that the chances of the last 200m being "ugly" as u put it is very high. I think she kept her composure and finished strong the last 200. she passed a fading running after bumping into her and still kept form. the girl that finished second just had a lot more left than her since she sat off the pace (robbie andrews style).
but you're right the top dawgs for the most part weren't in the race, but as an 800m runner i can tell you the top dawgs change every yr with the exception of a few like a rudisha/kaki. This is more so with women.. how long has it been since jelimo won anything, a few yrs.
moore is probably a top 3 at the trials at best but she is one of the youngest and thus will be the future of US 800m women. vessey didn't really come on to the scene until she was like what 27/28? moore is 23, same as her training partner and so i'd see those two girls pushing themselves to being the top of the US with the exception of a alysia montano.
