switched to the brooks pure connect after a recommendation from my chiropractor to clear up a month's worth of achilles tendonitis (was running in asics 2170s before). achilles felt fine after 2-3 days and i've enjoyed the shoes.
after about a month in them my calves are tired after an hour of running (as expected, i suppose) but i also feel like i hit my lactate treshold much earlier than before. legs feel a bit rubbery, and having more trouble than i should doing 20 min tempo runs.
this isn't something i've ever heard of, and just wanting to see if i'm possibly mistaking soreness/fatigue for lactic acid presence. anybody else feel like this with similar shoes?
