Proof of what? That he would run faster if he wore spikes?
He would run faster if he wasn't in and out of juvie.
Is Juvie your mum?
Someone needs to buy this poor guy some spikes. We had our local club run an experiment, 8 x 400m in spikes and 8 x 400m in Vibrams, the difference was 2.8sec on average per 400m FASTER in spikes than Vibrams. Just more efficient and more energy return in spikes.
well yeah i mean the point of vibrams is they are all minimalist. but so are spikes. and spikes have more traction (hence the spikes). so i have no doubt that spikes make you race a little faster than vibrams. no one ever said vibrams are the ideal shoe to race fast in, just to train to race fast in. i think the point is if he is racing in vibrams he is probably training in vibrams.
