I don't know how anyone can race in T7s or Green Silence. They lace so weird and have so much room in the forefoot. If brooks was smart, they'd learn from this and bring back the t5.

Amen, brother. The T5 was the bomb! I've written to Brooks about it.
Never was a big fan of Brooks shoes but am a recent convert. The Brooks Pure Flow is a fantastic shoe (for me). Run almost exclusively in them now.
FWIW, I have been running in Saucony Kinvaras, Asics DST and Nike Lunaracer until now.
I thought I liked the T6 racers in the store but when I tempo-ran in them, I found myself losing a few seconds per mile. I don't think there is enough heel-toe drop. The Adidas Adizero Adios are a much faster shoe.
Geez, I thought the original T3 (yellow/black) was the best fitting of the whole bunch. No useless overlays, a flexible upper - and that's the whole problem: they keep tweeking the upper. Go back to the T3.
A couple of them were racing in a post-less ST5 and some were wearing the Pure Connect. Also a lot of T6 and not T7
