Does anybody know of an online site where you can buy old models of shoes? Or has anybody seen these shoes at Nike outlet stores?
I am desperately looking for these shoes

They were a fav of mine too. Can't help you find them and I haven't seen them at a Nike outlet for a long time.
Two most similar things I have run in since are the Brooks Launch and the NB 890.
i hated those shoes. too narrow.
i've an almost new pair of 8.5's i'll sell you.
I loved that shoe. Zoom pad in the forefoot. Flexible. Probably expensive for Nike to produce vs. cutting a slab of "lunar" foam.
Nike still makes them for sponsored athletes. It's the all time more requested.
They'll never make them for the general public again because they are trying to phase out their association with running and are getting ready to step in for Reebok and take Crossfit to the next level.

Email me at the address linked in my handle with a price including any associated shipping costs if it's US men's size 8.5, please.
anyone have a lightly used pair of 9 1/2 to sell?
The original Skylon was a great shoe for road mileage. You might try the Lunar Elite+ 2. Similar feel, holds up to lots of miles, feels good on tempo runs. It is actually a lot more durable than the Skylon, though I liked the Skylon a little more overall.
My first Skylon back in 1990. I really liked that shoes. I am not sure if I will still feel the same way.

I wasn't fond of the last revision of Skylon. I thought they took too much cushion out. The previous generations including Hayward were great lightweight training shoes.
