I've noticed if you click on the 'vote' button as many times as possible before the screen refreshes, you can get in around 10-15 votes.
No thank you. I can think of a BILLION things more reasonable to spend $100,000 on than a wedding.
That money will go to somebody's wedding. That's how the contest works. Why not try to send it to one of our own?
I just voted about 300 times, and then I read the stuff about the "OC" wedding and stopped voting.

Exactly. We don't decide how to spend it, but we can help decide who to spend it on.
I need one of those birds that Homer uses to push the buttons on his computer when he works from home. I've given Gina and Jason 100 of my 999 votes, but I've got to get back to work and grade some papers.
Geena is a world class act. Not only as a runner but at a person. She has done a great job representing not only the United States, Nike and the University of Michigan but also south-east Michigan. Grand Blanc and the greater Flint, Michigan area is proud of her and her accomplishments.
Good Luck Geena!
How about raising money for something that we could all use, that would certainly be a hell of a lot more practical. I'm not wasting my time to vote for sending 100k for someones wedding, though I will waste my time writing on this forum to protest wasting money in a garbage economy. One doesn't need that much money for a damn wedding anyways.
They look like orange Jersey Shore folk--not sure if this helps or hinders their chances. I disagree with the its going to a wedding no matter what philosophy. I mean.. it is, but if there a zillion votes it means they'll start a new contest later, but if there's little interest maybe they'll stop blowing A HUNDRED Gs on a wedding.
As long as the majority of the money goes to having a legendary open bar at the reception I will vote for them. Oh, and I need to be invited as well.

Just give everyone A's.
Why would I vote for people I don't know? Out of spite I might go vote against them.
Katie and Lowell FTW!!!
Some of us actually have to earn the money that pays for our wedding, so I am not voting on a contest that promotes the excessive nature of American spending habits.
What's everyone's record for the most votes they can get in before the page refreshes? I'm at 6...
I'm not an ass and think it's better use of my LRC time to help a runner for free rather than sit and talk trash about runners I have no chance of beating.
So I think I'll vote for her.
Second try I got 9. My laptop "thingy" is super sensitive. It's really not fair...!

I consistently get 11 votes.
No clue who they are but after reading some of the other entries--they seem the best choice. Although, I don't agree with them saying that Huntington Beach is the "best" beautiful beach city in the US. Just my opinion.
I was really hoping these stories would be worth a hundred grand wedding?...not.
