So, I'm always trolling for shoes. I guess I just think there's something greener than what I have.
So, how do they stack up compared to NB, Saucony, and Nike?

All shoe companies these days make good shoes. Some folks find certain brands fit their feet better than others. I don't like Nike because they tend to be narrow in the forefoot. Mostly I wear adidas Sequence and adizero Tempos and for racing the Mana and Rocket as well as Cadence spikes. They fit very well, look cool and have just the right amount of stability for me.
Rcoket wont be around for 2012 and the mana is exiting as well so you may get on the hunt to find something else.
Rocket is being replaced by the Hagio
Mana stays (version 6), Boston now version 3, Adios now version 2
Ace seems to be going
Tempo, Aegis stay
I like the Adizero range. I find their sizing fits me consistently across the range.
Plus they change their colours twice a year so they often come up reduced here in Europe -- and therefore are much cheaper than Nike/Saucony/NB/Asics etc.
Paying 50-60 euros for a pair of shoes vs 100 euros a pair is therefore one of the reasons I stick with Adidas.
In general I find they are very well made, comfortable (for me), innovative and suit my running well. I'm sure I'd be equally happy with shoes from NB or Asics... it just so happens I use Adidas. In the end the shoes from the various major makers are all very similar.
