Anyone else receive one of these gift cards to Red Star Worldwear and use it?

I can't tell you for sure. I ordered a pair of sunglasses and got a watch just for the shipping. The glasses were out of stock, but I did get the watch for the shipping price of about $10.
This explains it pretty well.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jdr_d0BqYSw&feature=channel_video_titleMy friend used his (I trashed mine) and got a couple pairs of the cheap models. There was a little hiccup where he had to contact customer services to get everything taken care of. But, yes, they are legit from what I know.
Red Star is fantastic!!
I have been using their yeast for 20 years and am a local legend for making the best bread in my area. Might be hard to spend $500 bucks though. How many of those little packets of yeast would that buy?
Well done, sir. Well done.

It's a scam -- that is, unless you like buying $10 sunglasses. The sunglasses are not fancy. They are what you would buy at Wal-Mart or a gift shop at the beach. They charge you in shipping the actual value of the glasses. Same goes for the value of the watches. It's a gimmick and I wish RDs wouldn't put their cards in race packets.
